My name is Rob Fifarek and I’m dedicating this website to my interest in Astronomy, optics and the pursuit of my hobby of making telescopes. I’ve always have had a fascination with the science of astronomy, and I am always ready to learn more about the subject. I am particularly interested in mirror making, and I am currently making a new 16″ f3.85 plate glass mirror using my fixed post grinding post machine which I built this summer. Here I will explore astronomy, photography and telescope technology.
